The Konstanz hospital and ThyssenKrupp Lifts employ temporary passenger lift during lift modernisation
ThyssenKrupp Lifts recently modernised a passenger lift belonging to Spittalstiftung Konstanz. Because this lift was essential to hospital operations, a temporary passenger lift was required to compensate for the loss of capacity. At the request of Spittalstiftung Konstanz and ThyssenKrupp Lifts, RECO Lift Solutions installed a temporary 4-stop RECO PP passenger lift.
Freestanding lift construction
Typically, the shafts of temporary RECO lifts are anchored to the construction of the existing building. Because that method of stabilisation was not desirable for this particular building, RECO’s solution was to construct a lift shaft that was 100% self-supporting.
One-Stop Shop
RECO Lift Solutions realised turn-key delivery of the project for the Konstanz hospital. This meant that the client needed to commission only a single project in order to obtain delivery of a complete passenger lift. What’s more, RECO offers its clients a single point of contact, allowing projects to be carried out quickly and smoothly. Assembly of the RECO lift took just one working day to complete. Tüv Süd subsequently inspected and approved the RECO lift, meaning it could be directly taken into use by patients and staff.
3rd project in Badem Württemburg
This project in Konstanz is the 3rd project in the federal state of Badem Württemburg to be successfully completed by RECO Lift Solutions in cooperation with ThyssenKrupp Lifts. RECO Lift Solutions appreciates the confidence placed in it by ThyssenKrupp Lifts and looks forward to expanding this cooperation in the German market in the future.
