RECO Lift Solutions delivers temporary passenger lifts for major renovation project in Blerick

The Molenbossen flats in Blerick are very popular among residents and house-hunters in Venlo. The four flats, with a total of 608 social housing units, are located along the River Maas, making it an ultimate residential location at a low price. The buildings and technology are somewhat outdated, so the flats will be renovated until 2020

Delivery of temporary passenger lifts in phases 1, 2 and 3

Among other things, the lifts will be renovated, the façades will be given a new cladding and the balconies will be extended. As the renovation of the apartment buildings is taking place in an occupied state, it is important for the residents that the houses remain easily accessible during this period.

Good start

At an early stage, we were approached by the housing corporation to help think through the process. This resulted in the use of a temporary lift as the solution and RECO Lift Solutions being prescribed in the specifications as the housing corporation's preferred supplier.

The renovation of flat 1 is now in an advanced stage and RECO Lift PPE has proven its worth. During the rental period, the lift made around 1250 trips per day. The renovations of the following flats will be carried out in the same way.
