Temporary passenger lifts deployed for large-scale renovation in Nijmegen
For an energy-efficient home, various works were carried out in 2012, both inside and outside the homes. These included the installation of double glazing and insulation of the roof and the ceilings of the basements. Reco Lift provided temporary passenger lifts for the residents.
In consultation with the residents, INBO architects drew up a colour plan, after which the complex was painted. All flats got their own heating system. In addition, a videophone was installed and in 2013 the lift was also replaced; the residents then used a temporary lift.
From energy label F to B
All these measures ensured that the flats went from energy label F to B. Portaal is discussing - together with the residents - how the residents can best live in their homes. This includes energy saving, ventilation and heating behaviour. The living environment is also a topic of discussion. Installation company De Leeuw installed the individual central heating systems and Talen Vastgoedonderhoud carried out and coordinated all other work.
