External platform lifts for disabled access to intermediate floors
To offer wheelchair access to an intermediate floor, our external platform lifts can easily be deployed to the façade of a building. The lift is easily operated by using the press-and-hold buttons. These controls are levelled at hip height, making them accessible to anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter. And due to the low power requirements, relatively small external dimensions and yet large lift capacity, this external platform lift can be placed wherever you require barrier-free access.
Non-slip staircase with special handrails for the visually impaired
To reroute access to a certain area temporarily, it’s important to keep in mind that all pedestrians should be able to find and use the new route. Therefore we can outfit our temporary staircase with special handrails which are easily accessible to the visually impaired. The staircase is made from durable Layher scaffolding parts, with a few adaptations to make it suitable for public use. This includes non-slip surfaces and fences with extra bars for added safety.
